Our Team

Jane has a real passion and determination to create a warm welcoming feeling to the business. Jane shows drive and creativeness for everything at the daycare. With three dogs of her own Bash, Pumpkin and Milo (formally known as Chunk), she also has a very cuddly cat named Puffy, and four children Jessica, Charlie, Emily and Leila. Jane’s passion for dog’s welfare thrived from a successful mobile dog grooming business for 15 years prior to teaming with Jade to open Pawfect Playdays.

Jade is animal-mad in every way, she surrounds herself in crazy, and thrives on it. Along with five-year-old daughter, Alice, Jade and her partner, Phil, share their home with four dogs (Jasper, Dylan, Nellie and Ody), two parrots, umpteen chickens, ducks and doves, two horses, a Shetland pony and a cat called Russell. Jade originally founded Pawfect Home from Home, a boarding and daycare service for dogs, in her own home. After only two years, high demand led to a brainstorming session over a gin for Jade and Jane, and Pawfect Playdays came about.

Leah is the one whose presence gives us all that feeling of calm, and the morning person who is there to greet the daycare dogs before the rest of us have had our morning coffee. With three dogs of her own, Charlie, Kip and Hector, Leah loves the outdoors. She comes from a background in care, which is evident in her work at the daycare, ensuring both staff and dogs are all ok. A registered first aider, she also has qualifications in Animal Management, and is a member of staff we are lost without. Leah is not allowed annual leave as we all crumble without her!

Wendy, fondly known by us all as Nan (she really is to Jade), keeps an eye on us all, and plays the role of mother hen. But don’t be fooled by appearances, Wendy is one tough cookie. Firm but fair, she ensures the daily smooth running of the daycare. Ipsden through and through, Wendy has the pleasure of living next door to Jade, and being involved in all the crazy goings on. Over the years Wendy has had many animals, but is now enjoying the quieter life, if you can call it that, with five cockerels and her husband.
